2008 MISL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES FORMAT
The 2008 MISL Championship Series consists of six (6) of the nine (9) MISL Member Clubs competing in three rounds, the Quarterfinal Round (April 11-13), the Semifinal Round (April 18-20), and the Championship Series Final (April 26) at U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee. The standings for the 2007-08 regular season are based on a single table of the nine (9) Member Clubs. The nine (9) MISL clubs competing in the 2007-08 season are the Baltimore Blast, California Cougars, Chicago Storm, 2007 championship finalist Detroit Ignition, Milwaukee Wave, and the defending MISL Champion Philadelphia KiXX, with the addition of three expansion clubs, La Raza de Monterrey (MX), New Jersey Ironmen, and the Orlando Sharks.

The six (6) clubs with the highest regular-season win-loss percentage at the end of the regular season qualify for the postseason. The 2007-08 MISL regular season commences on the weekend of October 19-21, 2007 and concludes on the weekend of April 4-6, 2008. Each Club plays a thirty-match (30) regular-season schedule (15 home / 15 away). The League's Master Match Play Schedule for the 2007-08 campaign is expected to be released in early August.

TICKETS - CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES FINAL
Individual game tickets for the 2008 Championship Series Final are available for purchase beginning Wednesday, August 15 and may be purchased through the U.S. Cellular Arena Box Office, online through TicketMaster or by phone at 414-224-9283. Wave season ticket holders will receive a ticket as part of their overall package.
CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES QUARTERFINAL ROUND
The Quarterfinal Round, scheduled for the weekend of April 11-13, 2008, is a two-match, home-and-home series, with a "Golden Goal" mini-match series tiebreak, if necessary. The two Clubs with the highest regular-season win-loss percentage receive byes for the Quarterfinal Round. The Quarterfinal Round features the club with the third highest win-loss percentage (#3 Seed) playing the club with the sixth highest win-loss percentage (#6 Seed) in one quarterfinal, and the club with the fourth highest win-loss percentage (#4 Seed) playing the club with the fifth highest win-loss percentage (#5 Seed) in the other quarterfinal. The winner of each quarterfinal advances to the Semifinal Round.
CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES SEMIFINAL ROUND
The Semifinal Round, scheduled for the weekend of April 18-20, 2008, is also two-match, home-and-home series, with a "Golden Goal" mini-match series tiebreak, if necessary, with the lower-seeded quarterfinal winner meeting the club with the highest regular season win-loss percentage (#1 Seed) and the higher-seeded quarterfinal winner drawing the club with the second highest regular season win-loss percentage (#2 seed). The winner of each semifinal advances to the Championship Series Final.
CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES FINAL
The Championship Final is a single match featuring the winners of the semifinal round. The Championship is scheduled for the Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT at the U.S. Cellular Arena in Milwaukee.
