02/07/2010 3:35 PM - The Monterrey La RaZa defeated the Rockford Rampage, 13-6, Sunday afternoon at Arena Monterrey.  Jorge Duran led La RaZa to victory with two two-point goals while goalkeeper Jose Bontti earned his league-leading eighth win of the season.  Monterrey remains in first place in the MISL, a full game ahead of the second-place Milwaukee Wave.

In a game of goal-scoring streaks, La RaZa jumped out to an early 4-0 lead before the Rampage scored the next two goals to tie the game at 4-4 in the second quarter.  Monterrey scored the next three goals to take a 10-4 lead and, with La RaZa leading, 10-6, Bontti scored a three-point goal to seal La RaZa's victory.

In addition to Duran and Bontti, Mark Ughy, Carlos Farias and Shaun David scored for Monterrey; Bato Radoncic scored two goals for Rockford and Roberto Gallo scored the other.
